Rhonda

Rhonda Shader is a proven leader with decades of combined experience as Placentia’s Mayor and a small business owner.

Additionally, Rhonda saved taxpayers $28 million by launching Placentia’s first Fire Department, providing residents with a critical public service.

Rhonda’s passion for bettering the community transcends her work in local government where she serves on the St. Jude Medical Center Community Health Committee, the Orange County Human Relations Commission, and on the board of Lot 318, a non-profit that serves at-risk youth in Placentia. Rhonda also serves as the Vice Chair of the Orange County Legislation Committee, on the Orange County Association of Cities and the Southern California Edison Government Advisory Committee.

Sacramento is broken.

As Mayor of Placentia, I developed a strong reputation for putting our community first. Under my leadership, we created thousands of jobs, prioritized neighborhood safety and supported small businesses.

While I am proud of our local accomplishments, there is still much more to be done in our great state. As your next Senator, I will prioritize working families and fight every day to restore the California Dream.
